Who I Am and What I
Do?
I am a biologist, associated reasearcher of Ecological Institute of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz – Bolivia. Since the preparation of my degree thesis until today I have been working with soil microorganisms. I retired from university teaching but I´m still working like a researcher in international projects in the area of the mycorrhizae.
What made you study science?
When I was a child I played in the garden of my house observing the vegetation and the insects, but the things that got most of my attention were the changes of these things. This interest in living things lead me towards Natural sciences.
Family, hobbies, interests etc
My husband is a civil engineer and we have with 2 children , one was born in Hungary and the other in Brasil (Shirley and Miklos).
