Who I am and What I
Do
My name is Cecilia Demergasso and I am
working in a Microbiology Lab at the Universidad
Católica del Norte, Antofagasta,
Chile.

I am biochemist
Growing up
I grew up in Capitán Sarmiento,
a little and beautiful town in the República
Argentina.
What made you study
science?
I was keen on science because of our chemistry
professor in high school, Dr. Alberto Ruiz
Family, hobbies, interests,
etc.
I am married to Guillermo and we have a
beautiful 3 year old daughter, María
Celia. I like to dance and I belong to a
dancing group with at least 50 women, some
men and 30 children. Our teacher is Nelly
Lemus Villa a really beautiful woman.
