Reflecting on: "Why do we Explore?"

I know that the rules of the game is that you ask the questions and the team responds. But today, I would like to change a little bit of these rules and suggest to each of you to reflect on the following question and send us your personal opinion on "Why do we explore"? When I am saying "we", I am not necessarily thinking about this project but more about us human beings? I would like you to think a little bit about this by yourselves and also through discussions with your school friends and teachers. The response does not need to be long, a paragraph will be enough but think about it. Here are some pointers that can help you in your thinking.

What is exploration for you?

What is the goal of an explorer?

How many sorts of exploration do you know and what do they have in common?

Would you like to be an explorer? Why? Or Why not?

What does exploration bring to humans?

What is for you the ultimate exploration?

Do you think that exploration is only characteristic of human beings? If not, is this telling us something profound about life itself?

I just cannot wait to see your responses.
